Our members make everything possible. That’s because your support helps us win elections. And by winning elections, we can put the policies you vote for into action. But Membership is about more than just a card. Membership means you can:

ELECT OUR LEADERS
It’s the regular membership, that elect our party officials. Council Candidates & Parliamentary Candidates. Also, when the time comes an historic opportunity to elect our new party leader and Prime Minister.

STAND FOR COUNCIL
We are always looking for people who have a few hours to spare and want to give something back to their community. Becoming a Local Councillor is a worthwhile experience which enables you to make a positive contribution, help shape local services and get paid for your time.

TAKING THE FIGHT TO LABOUR
The memberships fees help the local party, enabling us to punch above our weight here in Thurrock and Basildon by campaigning to keep our Conservative councils and retain both our MPs.

Any person living in the United Kingdom is eligible to join the Conservative Party. Applicants are not required to be registered voters or UK nationals. There is no upper or lower age limit on membership, although children under the age of 15 cannot be enrolled as full voting members.
